Mecklenburg Technology Group offers a premium web and email hosting product for $35 per month. This service is "in-sourced" in that we manage, monitor and maintain our own web and email servers in our own locked cabinets in top-of-the-line data centers. Because of the redundant broadband connections, redundant power, tight access control and redundant cooling your web presence will enjoy an extremely high level of reliability.

Accountability: We manage, monitor and maintain our own systems. We do whatever it takes to deliver a superior value.

Low Load: MeckTech servers are never overloaded. Our competitors will keep piling users - hundreds of users - onto their servers until performance is degraded. We constantly monitor and load balance our service to insure that your email flows fast and your web pages load crisply.

Spam, virus, spyware, fraud defense: Each email domain includes three premium-filtered accounts. This means that all inbound email is scanned multiple times for spam, viruses, spyware and phishing (fraud & scams) content. Additional filtered accounts are available for $3 per month per account.

Hosting Environment: operated on redundant Windows Advanced servers using IIS and FrontPage extensions.

Mail Services: MeckTech uses SurgeMail and SurgePlus which are complete, advanced mail services. SurgeMail is secure, high performance, easy to use, reliable, rich mail server software supporting POP3 clients like Outlook and Outlook Express and also provides an incredible, intuitive webmail interface for use away from your primary computer.

The SurgePlus component is fantastic! SurgePlus allows each set of domain users (i.e. mycompany.com) to create and share calendars and to build on-the-fly file sharing web sites. SurgePlus is very useful as a basic backup tool and 1GB of storage per email account is included. Automatic appointment reminders can be sent to your email account, your PDA or both.
